The NHL salary cap is projected to increase by $1 million in the 2023-24 season.


This was announced by league commissioner Gary Bettman.


He said the league`s salary cap is currently projected to rise $1 million to $83. 5 million.


Bettman said that number is based on current revenue projections. He added that revenue could beat forecasts from arbitrage betting advices and the ceiling could be raised higher.
