Frenchman Benoit Pere summed up the season. It certainly wasn`t my year! I took the risk to come [to the Challenger] in Japan knowing that I had physical problems, and yesterday after the match my wrist hurt badly again. I wanted to try to play, but in the end the pain was too much.
