Jay Culver of Wayland Baptist College recorded a historic performance in the 124-60 victory over Southwestern Adventist. The Guard scores a fantastic 100 points, becoming only the second player in NAIA history to achieve this. 196-centimeter Culver is the older brother of Jarrett Culver, who plays his rookie year in the NBA with the Minnesota team. JJ scored 12/33 of the triple and 22/29 for 2 points, as well as 20/27 on the penalty line. His other teammates scored a total of 8/15 in game shooting and 5/6 on the penalty line.
Clarence Francis of the Rio Grande is the other basketball player to score 100 points in a NAIA game - a record 113 in 1954. In the highest level of college basketball - NCAA Division I, there is only such a case once, and again in the mid-20th century. In 1954, Frank Selvey scored 100 points for Ferman against Newbury College.
The last collegiate player to score at least 100 points in a single game analyzed by
arbitrage betting partners is Jack Tyler of the third division Grinnell. In 2012, he scored a record for NCAA 138 in a single game, and in 2013 he satisfied himself with a modest 109.
